Ana Mendes

 I am a multidisciplinary artist with an extensive repertoire in craftsmanship, combined with a unique design. ​

   My practice spans from sculpture, functional art, installation and abstract mix-media collages, embodying the concept of fantasy represented in a combination of different mediums that emerges in order to complete a Landscape puzzle.

Elements of nature, the cosmos as well as surrealistic imagery depicted from animated features serve as source of inspiration for my body of work.

I am Portuguese, currently living and working in England, while studying for my Bachelors Degree in Art and Design at Sunderland University
